Yes. DDSArk signs a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every customer handling protected health information, at no extra cost, and applies HIPAA-aligned administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.
No. DDSArk does not hold a SOC 2 report or any other third-party attestation. It signs a HIPAA BAA with every customer and encrypts backups with AES-256-GCM before upload; security documentation is available on request.

Cloud backup can support HIPAA compliance when the provider signs a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and applies safeguards such as encryption, access controls, and audit logging. HIPAA does not certify software — it places obligations on the practice and its vendors. DDSArk signs a BAA with every customer.
If your backups are immutable, your records are unaffected — ransomware cannot reach them. DDSArk restores a clean recovery point from before the attack to new or cleaned hardware, so you recover your charts, schedule, and imaging without paying a ransom.
Practice Direct pricing is published: $199/mo per location (unlimited data) + $75/mo per CBCT/PAN imaging unit + $25/mo per workstation — billed annually, 12-month term. The MSP White-Label Program is priced on application, and Enterprise (25 or more locations) is custom-quoted. An MSP is optional: a practice can run DDSArk itself, or an IT partner can manage it.
You install the DDSArk agent on the practice server and choose what to back up. New locations join the fleet from the existing console.
